Anyone can buy plots under this scheme.

Any plot owner can avail PMAY subsidy for self construction/ extension. An individual whose household income is upto 18Lakhs per annum can get benefit of Loan subsidy under PMAY. This scheme is available only for a limited period of time and can be availed at first come first serve basis.

The loan subsidy can be availed for houses Upto 110 Sq.mt. (Carpet Area). The prospective plot buyer can build S+4 Floors on the plot and separate conveyance deed is allowed for 3 units to avail interest subsidy under PMAY.
